We believe every child deserves to enjoy learning. Here's how we make that happen.
At Wirral Rise, we believe every child deserves to enjoy learning. We provide specialist alternative provision for children aged 4–11 who are finding mainstream school overwhelming — whether that's due to anxiety, EBSA, demand avoidance or trauma. A diagnosis or label is not required — if a child is struggling, we want to help.
Our aim is always to help children return to their home school or move on to another suitable long-term setting when they feel ready — not before. We work at the child's pace, building confidence, trust and a genuine love of learning along the way.
Children help choose what they explore. That makes learning actually enjoyable — and it works.
Our team includes neurodevelopmental practitioners, qualified teachers, a speech & language therapist and Cookie.
Everything we do supports children toward a safe, confident transition back when the time is right.
"Wirral Rise aims to offer a safe, nurturing and structured environment for children whose needs cannot be fully met in mainstream settings."
